Welcome to the

NCA Programs

with two levels of competition.

At NorCal Academy, we provide young athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, grow their love for the game, and compete at a level that matches their commitment. Whether you're looking to build a strong foundation in basketball or take your game to the next level, our programs offer the right fit.

We offer two levels of competition: The Academy, designed for all dedicated players looking to improve their skills, and The Travel Team, a competitive program for advanced athletes ready to compete beyond local play. No matter your experience, NCA is here to help you train, compete, and thrive on the court.

THE ACADEMY

The Academy welcomes all dedicated participants, 3rd to 11th grades, regardless of experience. All registered NCA players will participate at this level, with practices occurring twice a week. Coaches provide instructions on fundamental skills; abilities and knowledge players will need to improve their game. Competition will consist of in-county opportunities and play within the NCA program. This is also a good option for multi-sport kids trying to play other sports during the same season.

TRAVEL TEAM

This level is an advanced tournament travel team program for select players who will compete in various contests outside of local trainings and beyond skill-set sessions within The Academy level. Selection will be made through player assessments. Tryouts will be coordinated by the NCA coaching committee. Multiple teams within an age group will be considered if there is enough interest.
